Search & Rescue Applications:

JMDThèque has developped a fully patented brand new concept of UAV, called the "Amphibious Gyropendulum Drone" with tremendous potential especially within the "Search & Rescue" Market Segment.

Traditionally UAV/Drone are of two types, the "flying" ones and the "helicopter" ones. The first group has limitations for manageability and the second group has limitations for stability. Our main concern was to develop a robust concept overcoming these two weaknesses.

Thank's to the concept of Amphibious Gyropendulum Drone, we get manageability with the helicopter mode having a "superior" propeller combined to a semi-rigid vertebral structure holding powerful "inferior" propellers, and we get stability from the "gyroscopic" and "pendulum" intrinsic compensation functions provided by the semi-rigid vertebral structure. Such structure is coupled to geometrically distributed propellers, dealing efficiently with momentum and forces, controlled through a real-time embedded system handling navigation and balance functions.
